African Elephant

Taken during a photo tour of East Africa during Covid which allowed me to capture intimate images of animals that hadn't been in contact with humans for three years.

  • The strengths and the weaknesses of the Nikon P1000 can be seen in this image. The 3000mm zoom allows for close shots but the small sensor makes image quality a problem.
